This glossary defines key terms used throughout the Damisa platform to help you navigate with clarity and confidence.

Organization

Your company or entity using the Damisa platform. Each Organization has its own Damisa Accounts, users, and settings.

User

An individual with access to the Damisa Portal under a specific Organization. Roles and permissions may vary.

Damisa Account

A base currency account (e.g., USD, EUR) that shows the total aggregated balance of all supported stablecoins (and fiat, if applicable) across multiple networks. One Damisa Account per base currency per Organization.

External Account

A verified bank account or crypto wallet outside Damisa that you’ve linked to your Organization for settlement purposes.

Contact

An external individual or business you want to send funds to or request funds from. Each Contact must go through verification before being usable.

Contact Account

An account (crypto wallet or bank account) associated with a Contact, used for sending funds during payouts.

Payment Request

A request you create and send to a Contact to collect a specific amount. Includes payment details and status tracking.

Transaction

A record of money movement within a Damisa Account - including incoming transfers, outgoing payouts, fees, or settlements.

Payment Requests List

A view in the portal showing all created payment requests and their statuses (e.g., Sent, Paid, Expired).

Transaction History

A view showing all incoming and outgoing transactions for each Damisa Account.
